Refunds

Everything we sell is delivered the moment you pay, so purchases are final. These are the cases where you still get your money back.

1. No right to withdraw after delivery

The game, the Supporter Edition, capes and keys go to your account (or to you as a key) straight after payment. Before you pay, you ask for that and confirm you understand you then lose your right to withdraw. Under EU and UK consumer law, the usual 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase ends when digital content is delivered this way.

So we don't refund a purchase because you changed your mind, didn't play it, or bought it for the wrong account. Keys are treated the same, used or not.

2. When you get your money back

  • You were charged twice, or charged for a purchase that didn't go through.
  • What you bought doesn't work as described, for example the game won't run on a computer that meets the requirements on the download page, and we can't fix it within a reasonable time. You can then choose a price reduction or a refund.
  • Any other case where consumer law where you live gives you a refund. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

3. Public alpha

HexaCraft is sold as a public alpha: unfinished and changing with every update. Changes and bugs that come with an alpha aren't a reason for a refund on their own. A game that doesn't run at all is (see section 2).

4. Chargebacks

Please write to us before asking your bank to reverse a payment. If a payment is reversed, what it paid for is taken off the account, and a key it paid for stops working.

5. How to ask

Write to support@hexacraft.org from your account's email address. Include your account name, what you bought and when. We answer within 5 working days. Purchases are sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, so you can also ask Link's support about a payment. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days of us agreeing to them. What was refunded is removed from the account, or the key stops working.
